Scotland have been hit with their latest and potentially most serious injury scare ahead of the European Championship after Andy Robertson, was forced out of training on Monday. The Hearts striker Lawrence Shankland was also unable to complete the session in front of the public in Garmisch-Partenkirchen.
Physios raced on to the training pitch during a warm-up box drill, with Robertson the subject of their attention. The captain was led from the training pitch soon after. He did not appear in too much discomfort at that time and his place at left back for the rest of the session was taken by Aidan McIlduff, a former Celtic youth player who is now a Scotland kit man.”
