Newcastle are certainly in need of some fresh faces after being raided earlier in the summer so, after being linked with Christopher Nkunku, could move for RB Leipzig midfielder Nicolas Seiwald. The Austria international played under Matthias Jaissle at RB Salzburg.
Newcastle have shunned Manchester United’s attempts to snare Lewis Hall, so the Old Trafford club are still in the market for a left-back. Joaquin Seys, 21, of Club Brugge, is said to be a carbon copy of Hall and the Belgian has apparently been shunted to the top of United’s hitlist. Barcelona midfielder Marc Casadó is also a potential United midfield target with the Catalans ready to move on the 22-year-old after agreeing a deal for Rodri.
