Mac Allister, Bissouma and Cucurella sales boost Brighton profits to £122m

Players’ transfers and Potter compensation lift south coast club‘Dream is to be challenging for a European place and silverware’

Brighton have posted a post-tax profit of £122.8m for the 2022-23 season, up from £24.1m in the previous financial year. Turnover for the period was the Premier League club’s highest, rising by 17.2% to £204.5m, against £174.5m in the 2021-22 campaign.

The figures include the fees received for Alexis Mac Allister, Yves Bissouma and Marc Cucurella, as well as compensation for the former head coach Graham Potter’s move to Chelsea.
