Premier League reveals waiting time for VAR decisions soared last season
Checks took an average of 64 seconds during 2023-24Plan to retire ‘clear and obvious’ phrase as benchmark
The Premier League has admitted to clubs that video assistant referee (VAR) delays grew by more than 50% last season as it plans to confirm a video refereeing “improvement plan” at its annual general meeting on Thursday.
