Newcastle’s manager, Eddie Howe, said he was “not 100%” but was “delighted” to be back as he made his return to work after his recovery from pneumonia.
The club announced on Thursday that the 47-year-old, who was admitted to hospital on 11 April after feeling unwell for several days, was back at the training ground.
